HYPACK® GEOPHYSICS is a comprehensive software solution for the acquisition, processing, and analysis of geophysical survey data. It supports three primary categories of geophysical sensors: magnetometers, side scan sonars, and sub-bottom profilers, enabling users to collect, store, and process data from all three systems within a single, integrated environment.
The software provides advanced tools for survey planning, mission management, and real-time navigation, ensuring efficient hydrographic and geophysical survey operations. It supports industry-standard communication protocols and systems, including MAVLink, Seafloor, SeaRobotics, and SpatialNetics, allowing seamless integration with a wide range of autonomous platforms, survey vessels, and sensor packages.
HYPACK® GEOPHYSICS includes dedicated workflows for side scan sonar acquisition, target detection, and mosaic generation, enabling detailed visualization of the seabed. It also offers comprehensive sub-bottom profiling tools for collecting and interpreting subsurface stratigraphic data. Magnetometer functionality supports data acquisition, target detection, and contour generation, while multi-frequency display allows operators to view and compare data from multiple frequencies simultaneously for improved interpretation and analysis.
An integrated Overview Display provides a complete view of an entire dataset on a single screen or enables rapid navigation to specific areas of interest. Advanced automatic gain algorithms enhance image quality and improve data clarity, while segmentation tools facilitate seabed classification and mapping using side scan sonar or backscatter data, making seabed interpretation faster and more accurate.
