TAS-Z6 Total Station

The Tersus TAS-Z6 is a robotic total station designed for surveying, stakeout, monitoring, and machine control applications, delivering high accuracy, speed, and efficient one-person operation. It features Automatic Target Recognition (ATR), prism tracking, motorized rotation, and remote control via 4G, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth, significantly improving productivity and flexibility in the field.

Its key technical specifications include a measuring range of up to 4,000 m with a prism and 1,000 m reflectorless, with 1 mm + 1 ppm prism measurement accuracy and 1″ angular accuracy. The ATR system operates at distances from 1.5 to 1,200 m, while prism tracking is effective up to 600 m, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging field conditions. The instrument also supports 5 Hz tracking mode for fast and accurate tracking of moving targets.

The TAS-Z6 features an integrated 5 MP wide-angle camera, Android 9.0 operating system, a 6-inch graphic LCD display, and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM, providing a modern and intuitive user experience. Connectivity options include 4G cellular, Wi-Fi, long-range Bluetooth (up to 600 m), USB, and RS232, allowing seamless integration into modern surveying workflows.

In addition, the system includes PS Super Search, which automatically locates a prism without requiring coarse aiming, with a vertical search field of view of up to 20° per search. Target Prediction automatically re-acquires the target if it is temporarily obstructed. The integrated camera also enables users to measure targets directly from captured images. The onboard software supports one-person surveying, resection, point measurement, DXF/DWG stakeout, as well as automated monitoring with scheduled measurements, data processing, and remote operation.
