Point Cloud Processing Software
MVP Studio is Tersus’ comprehensive platform for processing, managing, and utilizing point cloud data. It covers the entire workflow, from importing and processing scan data to measurements, point cloud cleaning, coordinate transformation, and the production of final CAD, GIS, and surveying deliverables. A key advantage of MVP Studio is that all processing is performed locally on a Windows workstation, with no mandatory cloud upload. This is particularly important for large-scale projects or datasets that need to remain within an organization’s internal environment.
The free Standard Edition already provides tools for LAS/LAZ visualization, measurements, cut/fill volume calculations, clipping, coordinate conversion, ortho image generation, and reporting. The Professional Edition adds advanced CAD and GIS capabilities, including DXF and Shapefile export, wall and structure detection and extraction, DTM generation, contour creation, terrain classification, Floorplan Studio, and registration of multiple point clouds.
When used with the MVP S1, MVP Studio also enables raw data processing with RTK and control points, checkpoint verification, and the creation of a fully georeferenced and colorized point cloud. At the same time, it supports LAS/LAZ data from third-party scanners, making it a more open and flexible platform.
